Hat Kid by Piggybank12 Hat Kid by Piggybank12
You should consider going to Kickstarter and backing "A Hat In Time": [link]

Never mind that it gained over double it's required amount in only three days.  Go back it anyway.

Here's the link again. [link]

And one more time, just for good measure: [link]

Sure, go right ahead.  If anyone asks where the original animation is from or who made it, just point them to this submission. :)

Very nice animation. Great work on this.

As for the game, it looks really good. I don't have money to spare right now, but I'll be sure to spread word of this game.

The game looks just amazing. IMO does even more justice that what Banjo-Kazooie has become today under MicroCASH.

But I dig the way this is animated, I dunno but you used tweens in this?

I'm definitely gonna be dropping money on this. The fact that I actually still own all the games this is inspired by and still am able to play them makes me hope this really makes it.

I can't think of many platformer concepts better than Banjo-Kazooie In France. Hope I can actually play this one when it comes out, Giana Sisters is too taxing for my PC ;_;

If it helps you figure out whether it'll run on your computer or not, it's being made using the Unreal Development Kit, unlike Giana Sisters which I think was running on it's own game engine. It's looking more and more likely every day that it'll even get a Wii U release as well, so there's that. :D

Wow, the game looks like a combination of Zelda Wind Waker and Professor Layton! I really hope they reach their goal!

I'm loving the mix of influences this game has so far as well. I haven't played the Professor Layton games before, but it seems like this game will also have a few puzzles in it. :)

Yeah, even involving time travel! I really hope it doesn't fall short of greatness.

Not gonna lie, I'm quite interested in how the game's gonna turn out. I'm a fan of explorable open worlds.

*slight nitpick on the animation* Mouth movements could've been more natural.

I love the promise the open worlds have as well. I'm mostly just a big fan of getting a new collect-a-thon game after all these years. :D

And yes, I agree with you there. I'll be sure to give her some more frames for her mouth and hands, along with refine her puppet more over time. :)
